Southampton by Carol Moellers

Southhampton Batiks is a new collection from designer Carol Moellers for Lumin Fabrics Island Batik. Carol is known for her batik appliqué work, and her designs bring that same eye for color to Island Batik’s hand-dyed cotton. Each print is made with the traditional wax-resist process, so every yard has the rich, saturated color and slight variation batik lovers look for. Batiks have a tight weave, which keeps edges crisp for appliqué and makes them hold up well in piecing. Southampton Batiks are made by hand in Bali, Indonesia on a premium 44 inch wide cotton batik quilting fabric. Hancock's sells Southampton Batik quilting fabrics by the yard.
