Dorothy Hancock's legacy

Maria’s Sky
When Maria’s Sky arrived, it looked like a typical reproduction fabric. However, it's named for Maria Mitchell, who among other accomplishments was America's first female professional astronomer.
Hancock’s of Paducah History
In 1969, Rowland Hancock and his wife Susan moved to Paducah, KY to open a fabric store on the advice of his uncle. Rowland grew up in his parents' fabric store in Mississippi, and now two of his sons operate the business.
