Blythe displays elements from French documentary textiles from the Napoleonic era. In this regal time of French Imperialism, worldliness permeates the artistic textiles. Aside from the obvious map, the French incorporated botanical elements from their far flung empire in with the familiar Flemish still life florals. Charlotte brings us a Rococo Neo Classicism with ornate Roman laurel and acanthus medallions.

"Just wanted to let you know I received my fabric order from you today. It was pouring down rain here in Oklahoma, but the Fed. Ex. truck hand delivered my fabric in a well protected plastic waterproof covering with not a drop of water on the fabric. I was so worried it would be ruined because I have no front porch cover on my house and packages left are subjected to whatever weather conditions are "rolling through."
