Moda Brackman Metropolitan Fair Wax Flowers Chocolate

Collapse

Metropolitan Fair Collection was created by Barbara Brackman for Moda.  Barbara created these Civil War Era fabrics to honor the fundraiser ladies of the time who raised money for the soldiers' hospitals.  During these fundraisers, needlework and handmade items were sold.  Barbara's fabrics recall the calicoes and dress fabrics of the time and are named for different exhibit halls from New York's Metropolitan Fair.  Premium 100% cotton, 44" wide.

"I am a beginner quilter. I just finished a quilt top using your fabrics. It was a joy to work with the high quality of yardage. As I sewed I continually felt like a child in a candy shop revelling in the feel of the fabric, the blending colours & the ease of using such high quality fabrics. As a fabric junkie I am hooked!"
