KANSAS CITY STARS BY BARBARA BRACKMAN BORDERLAND

Borderland by Barbara Brackman. This book, based on The Kansas City Star's 2007 block-of-the-month project, offers a beautiful sampler quilt as well as other quilts and projects. The patterns relate to stories of women affected by the clashes along the Missouri / Kansas border during the Civil War. The quilt, made in shades of butternut and blue, is reminiscent of the uniforms worn by Civil War soldiers.

Customer Comments
"I just want to say I love your site! You have a great selection. As a 30 year old graphic designer by trade, the fabrics you offer really inspire me. I get so tired of looking at 3 million calicos offered at the chain stores. Every time I find a new fabric designer and check where I can purchase their fabrics your site always comes up. Does your physical store carry all these patterns? I live in northern Indiana but if I could see all these in person that might persuade me to take a trip to come see you. Thanks again, keep up the good work." Customer, December 2009.
