IN BEGINNING 1800'S BLENDED BIRD HEDGE TOILE

Hancock’s of Paducah brings you classic toiles from In the Beginning. These beautifully engraved scenics carry the textile tradition begun by Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf in his Jouy-en-Josas fabric factory. Although other French and European factories printed toiles, French royalties were among Oberkampf’s strongest supporters. In 1783, King Louis XVI proclaimed the Oberkampf factory to be the Manufacture Royale de Jouy. 44" 100% cotton.
