No prewashing is necessary. It can be quilted up to 8" apart. NO shrinkage in cold wash, air dried. 1% shrinkage in a warm wash, warm dry. Remember, your prewashing and selection of fabrics and thread will also affect shrinkage. Throw size 60" x 60"
